Rental Policies Overview
Reservations
A security deposit via credit card, check or cash is required to reserve rental products and equipment. Deposits are refundable if cancellation is made at least 72 hours prior to rental date. To avoid errors, we require that all changes be made 72 hours prior to pick-up or delivery. Orders cannot be changed after they have been packed. Additional rentals can be picked up at our warehouse or delivered for an additional fee if time allows.
Pricing and Availability
There is no sales tax on rentals, only paper goods and other items purchased. Rental fees are subject to change without advance notice. Availability is subject to quantity in stock.
Rentals
Rental rates are based on a 24-hour period. Extended rental rates are available. Please ask for an estimate. Late returns are subject to additional fees.
Pick-up and Delivery
Rentals may be picked up and returned to our warehouse. We offer Delivery and Pick-Up Service at minimal rates. Standard deliveries are made to ground floor, loading docks or garages that are accessible by truck. Additional fees will be applied to labor-intense locations (high rise buildings, stairs, and distances not accessible by our trucks). Sunday, evening and holiday pick-ups are available for an additional fee. If no one is present to check in the order, Abbey’s count will be treated as final.
Repacking
Rental products and equipment must be repacked, restacked and ready for pickup in the same manner in which it was delivered.
Set-up and Breakdown
Service is available for an additional fee.
Cleaning
Glass, China, Flatware and Serveware must be rinsed and returned in original containers. Linens must be shaken off and dry to prevent staining and mildew. Barbeques must be empty of ashes and coals. To avoid a $50 cleaning fee, barbeques must be returned in the condition they were delivered.
Damage
Customers are responsible for products and equipment from the time of delivery to the time of return. Damage, loss, misplacement or breakage of any item, including storage boxes and containers is subject to fees. Rental fees do not apply toward replacement charges.
