Planning even small parties can be overwhelming, but Abbey Party Rents can help you decide what you need and how much to rent. There are no simple answers; some people prefer to have plenty of extra plates, silverware and glassware, while others are willing to wash and reuse some items if necessary. However, we think that if you take a few moments to answer some of the questions below, the planning process can be much easier.
Questions to consider while planning an event:
When is the event?
This helps us determine availability and delivery charges.
How long will the event last?
This helps us estimate the appropriate quantities of equipment to recommend.
When will Abbey be able to deliver and pickup the equipment?
If there are specific time frames for delivery and pickup, we need to know! This also helps determine delivery and labor charges.
Who will be responsible for checking the delivery items with our staff?
Our staff packs each order individually, and we do our best to be accurate. However, mistakes do happen – and the best way to avoid them and/or address them is to have the client (or a representative) present on delivery.
How many people will be attending?
This number is the basis for your equipment counts. Also, it helps determine what size canopy would be needed.
Will most people be staying the entire time?
This also helps determine how much equipment you will need.
Will the attendees all be adults, or will there be children as well?
Most kids don’t drink wine! This also helps determine amounts of equipment.
What types of food and drink will be served?
This helps us recommend which items will be required.
Will the event have an open bar or a cash bar?
If it’s free, they’ll drink more. This also helps determine amounts of equipment.
What is the dress code for the event?
This helps determine which product lines will be most appropriate.
